“This place was just perfect for us for this visit. We love the location because it's near Richardson's Beach and also close to downtown. We loved to be able to take walks in the morning to the beach areas and still be close enough to town. It was also very clean and private in a lovely setting...small apartment complex. We had a house near Hilo so we are very familiar with the area and my family on my dad's side are all from Oahu. This was a short visit for us but this location was perfect and great value! We were there for a job interview with The County of Hawaii for my husband, so it was also close to where he had his interview. Overall, a great stay and I highly recommend it!”

The refundable rate costs 8% more on the nightly subtotal and can be cancelled until 23:59 UTC 30 days before check-in, when the 3.5% card processing fee is non-refundable and everything else you paid is refunded in full; after that it is non-refundable. Stays starting within 30 days are offered at the non-refundable rate only. Review the full booking terms before paying.
When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
