“This place was great for my 5 week work trip. The owner was very responsive and any problem I had they promptly fixed it. The only complaint I had was how thin the walls were and how much you could hear the people above you. Not much they can do but other than that it was a wonderful stay.”

“Oh, I don’t know if I can put into a few words how outstanding my stay at this Airbnb was. Over the past five years, I have traveled with my son for medical specialists and surgeries from a small artisan Village in Indiana. I have stayed in Humboldt Park, Oak Park, and Elmwood Park. At times, I have been there for months on endAt 68, safety is my main concern along with cleanliness. I felt perfectly safe, going out with the dog at 4 AM and again late at night in the dark. Not only was the Airbnb clean, but the housekeeping staff were the most understanding, patient and empathetic ladies I have met in a very long time. They embraced me as if I was family. I needed that. The owners of this Airbnb were beyond wonderful! I barraged them with continual requests for extensions as my reservations expired. I simply did not think I had the energy or strength to move as we experienced many medical glitches. The owners ARE FABULOUS! It will be impossible to find a better Airbnb in Chicago!!!”

What is the cancellation policy?
Two rates are offered. The non-refundable rate is final: no refund once confirmed. The refundable rate costs 8% more on the nightly subtotal and can be cancelled until 23:59 UTC 30 days before check-in, when the 3.5% card processing fee is non-refundable and everything else you paid is refunded in full; after that it is non-refundable. Stays starting within 30 days are offered at the non-refundable rate only. Review the full booking terms before paying.
When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
