“Ella and Peters place was exactly as pictured, clean and fun. we enjoyed the backyard, back deck and front porch. The pool table converts to air hockey and ping pong. we enjoyed game night on our last day in KC. The living room recliners were very comfortable and included built in charging ports for phones and electronics. the location is ideal! very short walk to the free tram that takes you to country club plaza, the university, union station and all the main bar/ restaurant areas. we especially loved the champagne bar right across the street!”

“A spacious, beautiful house with proactive and responsive hosts. It's hard to find proper communal space for more than 3 people, and this one had room to spare with 7! We loved the clever little design details everywhere. From the pop art coffee bar and neon-squiggled billiards room to the movie/game night kitchen kit and comfy, wrap-around sofa in the living room, everywhere we looked we saw invitations to gather and enjoy. These moments made a historic looking home look fresh, current, and welcoming. While the rain didn't allow us to enjoy the fire pit and porch dining area, these spaces were just as comfy, welcoming, and well-cared for as the rest of the property. The rooms were clean with nice linens and furniture, each with its own character - boutique hotel feel in a house. We also appreciated how walkable this neighborhood is (grocery/coffee shops/restaurants close-by). Had a few concerns with the upstairs restrooms on arrival, but they were addressed by our hosts immediately.”

When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
