“This is a very roomy place with enough parking for 3 cars in the back near downtown Chicago. We had a group of 13 and that was about right. The location is great, near down town and Oak Park. The hosts were very responsive when we needed more chairs and new lightbulbs. They had 8 folding chairs delivered and that made a huge difference. The fire pit was a great place to hang out in the evening and we loved how the lights would come on at dark. I would recommend this place but be aware that the additional parking is street parking at least a block away.”

“We had an incredible 3-night stay here with a group of 14 to celebrate my husband’s graduation weekend! The house was perfectly set up for a large group, with ample space for everyone to sleep comfortably and plenty of towels provided in every room. Some of the bedrooms don't have closets or have them locked up, so you’ll want to plan on operating out of your suitcase. We loved hanging out around the fire pit and spending time in the entertainment basement. What truly set this place apart was the hospitality: when we noticed there weren't wine glasses, the property manager went completely above and beyond, delivering a set to us the very next morning. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and it was a convenient 30-minute drive to Navy Pier. Having the basement laundry was another great plus. Highly recommend for large parties!”

When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
