“Me and my friends came to California for a week of dodging the snow in our hometown, and this bnb was amazing. The views and the space added with the location was just fantastic. Shout outs to the neighbors for all their assistance. It was definitely cozy and I think we will plan another trip here in the summer to get some real sunshine in. It’s about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the downtown area but it’s a lot of stuff to do there.”

“Wow! We booked this beautiful Airbnb for the views and it absolutely did not disappoint! The home was bright airy and clean and were greeted by the amazing Pacific Ocean in all its glory. The sound of the water and the waves was such perfect background music to our weekend away. The owners had beautiful patio chairs outside on the back deck that overlooked the ocean and we loved sitting there with drinks, enjoying the sunny days. The kitchen was very large and perfect for cooking for a large family and there was more than enough room for our party of 11 to enjoy time together. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the rooms were spacious enough that we could bring a pack and play and a blowup mattress for our toddlers. We went to the beach and it only took about three minutes to walk to the ocean from the house which was so convenient as there was a crosswalk a house over. The beach was pristine and there was an outdoor shower at the house to clean up. Overall, we loved it here!”

“The host was very responsive, but the listing did not match the description. You do not have access to the entire property or all of the garage space stated in the listing. In addition, we did not have access to the grill as was described. It is a shared facility, and there is an occupant/owner of the downstairs unit who was home during our stay. The first day, for a few hours, we heard a dog barking and a baby crying in the downstairs unit that is connected. That eventually got better, but it was still awkward having the owner home on the bottom floor. The place is a great location, but many other challenges. We had to go out and buy dish soap and a pod to put in the dishwasher. There is a ton of potential, but some investment in supplies and materials (such as forks and soap) is needed for it to be realized. If I had known it was a shared space when I booked, I would have passed.”

Two rates are offered. The non-refundable rate is final: no refund once confirmed. The refundable rate costs 8% more on the nightly subtotal and can be cancelled until 23:59 UTC 30 days before check-in, when the 3.5% card processing fee is non-refundable and everything else you paid is refunded in full; after that it is non-refundable. Stays starting within 30 days are offered at the non-refundable rate only. Review the full booking terms before paying.
When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
