“We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It’s tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac right beside the cemetery, which actually made it peaceful and private. The apartment looked exactly like the photos — bright, clean, and surprisingly spacious for our group of seven. All the amenities were just as described. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, the beds were genuinely comfortable, and the gym equipment was a great bonus to have on site. There was plenty of natural light throughout the space, which made it feel open and comfortable. Parking was generally easy — free on the street, and if you don’t find a spot right outside, there’s usually more within a 5–10 minute walk. The location is convenient, close to O’Hare and shopping outlets, which made it practical for both travel and errands. The hosts were responsive and pleasant to communicate with, which made check-in and our overall experience smooth.”

What is the cancellation policy?
Two rates are offered. The non-refundable rate is final: no refund once confirmed. The refundable rate costs 8% more on the nightly subtotal and can be cancelled until 23:59 UTC 30 days before check-in, when the 3.5% card processing fee is non-refundable and everything else you paid is refunded in full; after that it is non-refundable. Stays starting within 30 days are offered at the non-refundable rate only. Review the full booking terms before paying.
When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge. Government-issued ID is required.
