“The location was incredible. Such a gorgeous view and we had great weather to enjoy it. We loved the private beach area for the kids. It was small, manageable and yet just enough for us to play. The yard was nice. The house was really big and we were all able to spread out. I would say the linens especially towels are very worn and small in size so if you have a preference of towel, bring your own. The kitchen had plenty of equipment for cooking but also a lot of the pots/pans and cooking utensils were very worn and scratched or dirty. The house is older but felt that it was well maintained. There’s plenty of space outside to play and enjoy the scenery. We loved all the swings and the beach toys & chairs were nice to have so we didn’t need to travel with those items. Overall, it was a really great weekend with our family and the house made it so much more enjoyable by providing a relaxing environment where we could just hang out. Definitely will stay again!”

“Really grateful to have found this place nestled back in a private area where the river & bay meet. The scenery and wildlife did not disappoint. We loved being away from the busy tourist areas and the neighbor, Bryan, was super friendly and helpful to give us tips on fishing & places to visit. Loved having a sandbar all to ourselves for the kids to play in, lots of options for large or multiple families to spread out. Loved the view of the room with the bunk beds as well as having various porch areas. Everything was very well kept, appliances & linens provided were plenty, easy check in and out process. Thanks so much!! Highly recommend River Vibes in Washington that was a place to rent kayaks from if you don’t have your own boat to bring. They have lots of options, date night specials, smoothies & drinks they bring out to you while you’re on the water, a go-cart that carries you & family to & from and it’s a really friendly, hospitable area in town. Also a good ice cream shop there”

“Great house and hosts. Unfortunately our reason for traveling was in the off-season and happened to be during the snowstorm of 2026. Very cold weather and snow led to frozen pipes but with the help of the hosts walking us through steps to get them unfrozen our weekend was uninterrupted! Beautiful views of the river and waterfowl ! “We had an AMAZING week!! The moment you walked in the house was beautiful and smelled clean. The house was so well stocked in everything one could need! I did a lot of cooking and baking and the only thing we had to borrow from our daughter was a crockpot. I have stayed at many b&b’s and never had a kitchen so well stocked! Wonderful, open floor plan that was great for when our whole family was there to celebrate Christmas together! Wonderful porch and well maintained outdoors for family photo shoot! All beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were very spacious! Definitely plan to book here again!! Thank you for an amazing stay!!”

Stays starting within 30 days are offered at the non-refundable rate only. Review the full booking terms before paying.
When do I pay, and is there a security deposit?
If check-in is more than 60 days away, you pay 50% in secure Stripe checkout and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 60 days before check-in; if it is sooner, the full total is due at checkout. Your agreement also authorizes a separate $500 security deposit hold shortly before or during your stay (2 days before check-out, or the day before check-in for a 1-night stay); it is not an immediate charge.
